VINCENT TIZON

Principal oboist of the Orchestre National de Cannes, Vincent Tizon discovered the oboe at a very young age through his father and grandfather, both oboists themselves. After studying at the Conservatory of Le Mans, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied with Jacques Tys, David Walter, and Maurice Bourgue.

During his studies, he also began learning the baroque oboe with Marcel Ponseele, and took up classical singing under Alain Buet and Fusako Kondo.
He has performed with leading European orchestras and under the baton of renowned conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Kurt Masur, Christoph Eschenbach, Emmanuel Krivine, and Riccardo Muti, among others.

Passionate about sharing music, he regularly gives masterclasses in countries including South Korea, Romania, Poland, France, and the United Kingdom.
